A Nampa woman lost control of her pickup truck on Interstate 84 Thursday night after the right rear tire blew out, sending the truck into a guard rail on the right shoulder, according to Idaho State Police.
Both the driver, Sarah N. Daniel, 30, and passenger Dustin C. France, 36, were ejected in the crash.
Both were taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Daniel by helicopter and France by ground. Daniel was in critical condition Friday morning. France was in fair condition, a hospital spokesman said.
The crash occurred just before 8:15 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 84, near milepost 9 in Payette County. Daniel was driving a 1949 Wiley’s pickup truck.

Idaho State Police are investigating the crash. Neither Daniel nor France were wearing seatbelts, ISP said.
Westbound lanes of the highway were blocked for about two hours.
