Boise Parks and Rec announces winter art-class registration dates, open studio times

The drawing and painting studio at the City of Boise’s Fort Boise Community Center, 700 Robbins Road, will be open between the fall and winter art class session from Nov. 21 to Jan. 22.

The cost is $4 per day and you can pay at the front desk. The studio is open for painting, drawing, mosaics and more. Bring your own supplies.

The studio is open from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.

Note: Occasionally, the room will be booked with a one-time class from another parks and rec program. If you show up and the room is full, please feel free to use the classroom at the opposite end of the hallway.

Also note, the winter art class session begins Monday, Jan. 23.

Registration begins Dec. 12 for residents and Dec. 14 for non-residents.
