A new Holiday Inn has opened at 16245 N. Merchant Way in Nampa, off the Karcher exit on I-84.
The hotel includes 85 guest rooms, 2,400 square feet of convertible space and a small boardroom. The hotel also has a media lounge, fitness center and pool.
4 Wheel Parts has opened a Boise store at 8001 Franklin Road, the retailer’s 79th North American location. The manager is Nick Becket.
Corporate IT Solutions, of Aliso Viejo, California, has finished the expansion of its Boise support center opened in the U.S. Bank building in Downtown Boise in December 2015. The center has about 35 workers and plans to add 35 to 40 more in the next 18 months.
Idaho Human Rights Commission Director Linda Goodman will retire Aug. 26 after nearly 30 years of service to the commission as a civil rights investigator, senior investigator and certified professional mediator. She has been director and administrator in 2014.
The commission has named Benjamin Earwicker, Ph.D., to succeed him. Earwicker joined the commission as a bilingual civil rights investigator and mediator in January 2016.
LIMBitless will receive a $10,000 donation from Boise River Insurance. The nonprofit helps provide adaptive individuals with support, education, financial resources and a global community.
