Curt Asmussen has been promoted from director of sales to general manager at the new Inn at 500 Capitol in Downtown Boise.

Asmussen also joined the board of directors of the Boise Convention and Visitors Bureau for a three-year term.

Craig Stevenson, a retired 30-year veteran of law enforcement, has founded Safe and Snug Pets, a Meridian pet-sitting and dog-walking business
