The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers announced Tuesday that 750 employees at DirecTV’s call center in Boise will join Local 291.

The union will now represent employees when negotiating wages, working conditions and benefits, a release said.

The announcement was part of a broader agreement between the union and employees of AT&T, which acquired DirecTV in 2015. In total, 3,000 employees in 14 states joined the union when the agreement was ratified on Monday.
