Denidav, a walk-in fast food restaurant specializing in healthier foods, has opened at 3223 E. Louise Drive in Meridian, behind the St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center.

The eatery serves food such as rice bowls, salads, wraps, burritos, soups, gluten-free pizza and low-fat frozen yogurt, according to a news release. It also serves breakfast items such as oatmeal with fruit and granola with yogurt. It does not serve soda but serves juices, smoothies, infused waters, wheat grass shots and green tea.

It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Denidav is an amalgamated name from the names of founders Dave Brown and Denise Coleman.

Brown is a serial entrepreneur whose business ventures have included EmergeCore and MobileDN, which a news release describes as “a real-time social media and networking platform he plans to include in promotions for Denidav.”

The news release says Brown plans multiple franchises of Denidav for Salt Lake City and other U.S. regions. He hopes to expand to 200 U.S. locations within the next two to three years.
