West Elm opens its doors to Boise shoppers at 10 a.m. this Thursday, June 9. It is the first Idaho store for the national retailer.
The furniture and home-goods store is at 824 W. Idaho St. The store takes over space formerly occupied by Anthropologie.
Shoppers can get a sneak peek of the 14,000-square-foot store during a grand opening party the evening of Wednesday, June 8. The celebration includes a 15 percent discount, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Global Gardens. To go, RSVP today, June 6.
The store’s interior design includes an art installation made of materials salvaged from the renovation of Simplot’s Caldwell potato storage center.
The store will stock local products from ALETHEIA DSGNS, Idaho is Love, Ladybug Press, Lost Little Things, Melanie Folwell, Nystrom Goods, Puur Body and Studio 1212, according to a news release from the company.
