4 young Boise business professionals honored

The Boise Young Professionals named the winners of its annual awards to young professionals, supporters of the group and workplaces:

Young Professional of the Year: Brock Martinson, CTA Architects, Boise.

Young Leader of the Year: Michela Swarthout, CPA Global, a British intellectual-property firm with a Boise office.

Young Volunteer of the Year: Tayler Tibbits, Hawley Troxell, the Boise law firm.

Young Entrepreneur of the Year: Grant Rosendahl, Main Street Deli, Boise.

Sage Award: Jason Crawforth, semi-retired Boise serial entrepreneur.

Next-Generation Best Place to Work: Idaho Wine Commission, Boise.

Nominations were solicited from members and the public. The Sage Award was created two years ago to recognize a community member who has shown outstanding leadership and commitment to supporting the mission of BYP.

BYP was created by the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce to attract, develop and retain young talent throughout the Treasure Valley. It claims more than 1,000 members from more than 280 companies.
