A new drive-through Dutch Bros. coffee shop is slated to open in late October or early November at the intersection of State and 15th streets in Boise.
It will be larger than most Dutch Bros. stores, with indoor seating for 17 or 18 people, and outdoor seating with a fire pit.
The location “opens up a whole new area” for Dutch Bros., said Brian Wight, the franchise owner for all Dutch Bros. in Boise east of Cloverdale Road. The fire pit area, which will seat 12 people, is meant to capture “the North End vibe,” he said. It also will give Boise High students a place to hang out, he said.
For that busy part of Downtown Boise, the store opening is likely to be an event. The line of cars at a new Dutch Bros. grand opening often winds through a parking lot or around a block.

A media representative for the Oregon-based company said Dutch Bros. does not have any immediate plans to open any other new drive-through coffee stands in the Treasure Valley.
