ProService Boise announced it will hire 450 seasonal workers as it ramps up holiday operations.
The company handles incoming calls, emails, live chat and social monitoring support, as well as information technology and web development services. ProService Boise has three clients, two of which are online distributors of artificial Christmas trees, garlands, wreaths and other products, spokesman Dave Meine said. The third manufactures similar products that are sold in big-box stores, he said.
Pay starts at $10 an hour, and the company offers shifts between 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. or later, Meine said.
The company now has about 60 employees at its 651 S. Stratford Drive location. While it’s hired several hundred employees in anticipation of the holidays in previous years, 450 is an all-time high spurred by client growth, Meine said.

“We’re targeting people that may be a fit with seasonal work — maybe a student, somebody looking for part-time work or wanting to make extra money for the holidays,” Meine said. “We have a variety of shifts to accomodate their work and life schedules.”
