After a June fire that destroyed a city block of businesses, Idaho City residents pulled together to throw a day-long city-wide fundraiser for those affected by the blaze.
The Idaho City Burn Out Bash on Sunday brought musicians, a shoot-out, food and activities together for a day-long party to raise money for the business owners who lost their stores June 5 in the fire.
Hundreds of people came through to patronize newly reopened establishments and take part in the day’s events.
The fundraiser brought in about $15,000, which will be split evenly among the business owners, according to the event’s Facebook page.
