The Treasure Valley Angel Fund, which has invested in 14 local companies since opening in 2012, announced Thursday it has closed to future investments.

Since starting, the fund's 24 members have invested a total of $1.35 million. The fund will focus on supporting and mentoring the companies in its portfolio as they grow and work toward exits, according to a fund release.

The Treasure Valley Angel Fund and Capitol City Angel Fund are associated with the Boise Angel Alliance, which was created in 2004. Capitol City Angel Fund will continue to invest in new companies.

The Boise Angel Alliance was founded in 2004. Members in the three funds have invested nearly $8 million in companies that have created more than 300 jobs since receiving angel investments.
