Grocery Outlet will open three stores in the Treasure Valley by the end of the year

Grocery Outlet, an independent discount supermarket operation out of Emeryville, Calif., will open stores in Boise and Caldwell in early August. The company is looking to add a third store by the end of the year and is actively seeking a location in the Treasure Valley, says Melissa Porter, the company’s vice president of Marketing.

Its second Boise store will be at 6969 W. Overland Road in the Overland Park Center. Look for a grand opening around Aug. 1.

The company currently has a store at 5544 W. Fairview Ave., Boise.

The Caldwell store, 5023 Cleveland Blvd., at East Ustick Road, will open around the same time, Porter says.

Each Grocery Outlet store is independently owned and owners shop and acquire their own deals.
