Get a sneak peek at Canyon County Co-op’s new home

Canyon County is joining the co-op food movement. The Canyon County Co-op will open in Nampa in the coming months.

Organizers will give the public a look inside the co-op’s future home from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at 1415 1st St. S., across 14th Avenue from the Flying M Coffee Garage in the former Snake River Crossfit.

Co-op board members will be present to answer questions, give tours, sign up volunteers and take Charter Membership applications.

The cost of a membership, which includes membership equity and a joining fee, is $65. There are no ongoing membership fees. Charter Memberships will be sold until two weeks before the opening date (to be announced), when the fee will be $75. Standard Members will be charged a $35 sustainability fee every following year to support the on-going costs associated with running the Co-op.
