BSU TECenter launching Nampa entrepreneur group
The Boise State University TECenter, a startup incubator, is creating a Nampa Entrepreneurs Organization in partnership with the City of Nampa Economic Development Office.
A kick-off event is planned for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at 113 13th Ave S., former home of the Hop House and future home of The Dewey, a new business. The event includes free food and drinks from Flying M Coffee Garage, Messenger Pizza and Brewery, Brick 29, Whiskey River, The Dewey and Hong Kong Restaurant, as well as Italian-to-Go and Sweet Hope.
“We hope that this becomes a regular event where the local entrepreneur ecosystem is built up through conversations and collaborations with experienced industry professionals,” organizers Will Fowler of the TECenter and Beth Ineck, Nampa Economic Development director, said in a press release.
