Provided by Dawson Taylor

Coffee lovers, mark your calendars for Friday, Dec. 9.

That’s the day Dawson Taylor will show off its new shop: Roast, a pour-over coffee bar in the company’s roastery, at 1035 S. Lusk St.

The new bar will offer free pour-over and French-press coffees and donuts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.

Dawson Taylor has been roasting coffee in Boise since 1995, when owner Dave Ledgard founded it and named it after his son.

The new pour-over coffee bar is part of the Dawson Taylor headquarters, next to the Boise Bicycle Project.

Dawson Taylor also operates a cafe in Downtown Boise, on 8th Street just south of Bannock Street.
