Marax, 9 weeks, is a domestic shorthair cat with brown and gray markings and a kinked tail. He came to the shelter as a sickly kitten — the only boy in a litter of three. Marax is shy, but he is slowly coming out of his shell. Though he’s had difficulties in his young life, he will make a great companion. He is a playful, curious kitty who loves toys and would enjoy having a cat perch in his new home. He has spent some time with a gentle dog, and would likely do well with a canine companion. Marax will need to spend the night at the shelter to be neutered before he goes home.
Marax (#29651320) can be found in kennel 3 at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
