Genevive, 2, is one of 13 dogs that were surrendered by their owner to the shelter due to the task of taking care of all of them.
They are all between 1 and 3 years of age and vary in breed from Yorkie/Shih Tzu to Chihuahua/schnauzer, and various combinations of those. Because this was a large group of tiny canines, they are going to need one-on-one socialization to help them overcome their fears of new people and situations. All of the dogs are great with each other and once separated, they are lap dogs that just want a chance to be loved.
Genevive is a Shih Tzu/Yorkie blend. She will be spayed prior to going home and is microchipped and vaccinated.
Genevive resides in Dog Adoptions at the West Valley Humane Society at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and closed on Sundays.
