Ada County Pet of the Week: Ollie

Ollie, 5, is a spayed female, orange, domestic shorthair cat.

This sweet cat is a snuggle bug that loves to chat with people. She developed a cold at the shelter and spent some time in a foster home getting well. Her foster home raved about her loving nature and playful outlook on life. Ollie likes to burrow under blankets to make herself a feline tent and likes to play with and fetch hair ties.

Ollie has been declawed on her front paws, so she will need a safe, indoor-only home where she can watch the birds from sunny windowsills. She is litter-box trained and keeps her short coat well-groomed and tidy. Ollie does well with children of all ages and has tolerated living with dogs well, but prefers her canine companions to be calm and mature.

Ollie (#28526589) can be found in cat cage 13 at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
