Frankie, 3, is a spayed female, black, pug and possibly Labrador retriever mix. Found as a stray who has remained unclaimed, Frankie is a nice, loyal dog. She is a medium size and weighs just 42 pounds. It appears no one has spent much time with Frankie either teaching her obedience commands or socializing her. Despite being nervous about the shelter, Frankie is eager to bond to someone new. She likes to sit next to you, leaning into your leg for attention. Frankie does appear to be hous- trained or will be a quick student. Staff recommend an introduction at the shelter to any potential canine housemates and a cat-free home. She’ll likely do well with adults-only or a home with older, perhaps teenaged children. Meet her at the shelter for a walk today.
Frankie (#28528674) can be found in kennel 415 at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
