Admiral Stout the Strong, 8 months, was found as a stray on Cumberland Way in Caldwell. Stout kept to himself when he arrived but is now interacting with other dogs. He might not get much bigger than he already is (about 20 pounds), but he could surprise and be a basset hound mix instead of his possible breed mix of Dachshund. Stout is leash-trained, good with other dogs and friendly. Like all puppies he will need continued socialization. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Stout resides in Dog Adoptions at the West Valley Humane Society at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and closed on Sundays. For more information on other adoptable pets, visit www.westvalleyhumanesociety.org.
