Lucy, 1, is spayed female, tan and white, Siberian husky mix. Lucy was surrendered by an owner that could not provide her the care she needs. She needs an owner familiar with dogs that tend toward a more nervous personality. Lucy will thrive in a home with lots of consistency, positive reinforcement and confidence building. She would do best where she is not left alone for long periods of time, but is safely crated when is home alone. Being that she is basically just a teenaged puppy, Lucy will still need regular exercise with her new owner. She is reportedly crate trained and almost housetrained, with just an occasional accident if she’s left a long period of time. Lucy does well with other dogs. Could you give this sweet-natured girl the loving home she yearns to find? Meet her at the shelter for a test walk today.
Lucy (#27851166) can be found in kennel 321 at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
