Canyon County pet of the week: Romeo the pointer mix

Romeo, 2, is a male pointer mix who weighs 50.2 pounds. He came as a stray from Caldwell. He walks nicely on a leash and loves to play fetch. He has a soft mouth and is friendly toward people. He is great with other dogs and appears to have been house-trained. He is a sweet and easy going boy. We recommend bringing the whole family in, including other dogs in the home for a meet and greet with the potential new dog. Our trained staff will conduct the introductions to make sure everyone is compatible. We can also cat test with cats housed here at the shelter. Ask a staff member for assistance. Romeo is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines.

Romeo resides in Dog Adoptions at the West Valley Humane Society at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and closed on Sundays. For more information, visit our website at:
