Ada County Pet of the Week: Leo

Leo, 2, is a 9-pound neutered male Domestic Shorthair. He’s a handsome boy with an affectionate, charming personality. He’s a talkative fellow that enjoys meowing, chirping, and carrying on conversations with his human friends. Leo absolutely loves to give hugs and enjoys behind held and snuggled. When he’s not busy hanging out with his people, he loves snoozing on warm blankets and playing with his catnip toys. Leo would prefer to be the only cat in the home, and likely the only animal. But he loves people of all ages and would do well in a home with children that are gentle and respectful.

You can meet Leo (#38044389) in Cattery Kennel 20 at the Idaho Humane Society, 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information about Leo or other adoptable pets, go to
