Laney, 1, is a 7 1/2-pound spayed female domestic shorthair. A sweet, sensitive cat that appreciates the good things in life. Good things like naps in the sun, warm blankets and people-watching. Laney was found as a stray by Deer Flat and Ten Mile roads, but has been adjusting to life in the shelter. She’s shy around strangers but eventually shows off her loving personality with enough patience and gentle pets. She enjoys chin scratches, head rubs and being brushed. Due to her shy nature, Laney will do best in a home with older children who are gentle and respectful.
Laney (#37733002) is available for adoption in Cattery Kennel 109 at the Idaho Humane Society, 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The Idaho Humane Society is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can find more information about Laney and other adoptable pets at Idahohumanesociety.org
