APPLE WEEK: SNICKERS CARAMEL APPLE SALAD

It's prime time for apple pickin', apple buyin' and apple eatin'. This week, we'll share some recipes for how to utilize fall's favorite fruit. Today's can help you use up leftover Halloween candy as well as your apple supply. It comes from food.com.

INGREDIENTS

6 (2 1/4 oz.) Snickers candy bars, chill and chop

6 apples, cored and chopped into bite sized pieces (Granny Smith and or or Red Delicious)

1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip

1 (5 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding pr butterscotch pudding mix. (Use dry mix. Do not prepare.)

Garnish for extra flair

1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping (optional) or 1/2 cup caramel apple dip (optional)

1/2 cup chopped peanuts, can also sprinkled on top (optional)
