The second season opens the morning after the escape, as Michael, Linc, Sucre, C-Note and Abruzzi barely manage---with the help of a freight train---to elude Bellick. But an FBI agent named Alexander Mahone (William Fichtner) will provide a tougher challenge. Elsewhere on the run, T-Bag finds someone who might be able to give him a hand. Meanwhile, Sara is still comatose in Chicago, and Veronica doesn't like what Steadman has to tell her in Montana.
On the penultimate episode, the key to the mystery treasure is on the line as the three remaining teams search for the final artifact.
Without asking him, Barney gets Ted a beautiful "escort" (Erinn Bartlett) for Robin's media-awards dinner in an attempt to make Robin jealous and get his two friends together.
Debut: The disappearance of a senator's wife prompts an FBI investigation that turns up more questions than answers. First up: Sara Collins goes missing from a gala in her honor, and a TV reporter (Rebecca Gayheart) throws herself into the case.
