Exhibition: New England at Atlanta.
Austin (Mike Myers) boogies back to 1975 and teams up with a secret agent-disco singer (Beyonce Knowles) to rescue his abducted father in the raunchy third Powers romp, the most extravagant entry in the series yet. The opening credits feature cameos by a number of celebrities.
Danny hunts down a chip thief who reveals that a mysterious someone is plotting to blow up the Montecito. Meanwhile, things sizzle during a cook-off between Gunther and Wolfgang Puck that is judged by none other than Donny Osmond and Charo; and Sam investigates rumors surrounding the new masseur (Brody Hutzler).
This quirky crossbreed blends a script, improvisation and interviews into an oddly likable blend. A fictional family has a TV talk show in its house with the doted-on son (Sanjeev Bhaskar) in charge. Real guests arrive for a real (but odd) interview. Tonight has Zoe Wanamaker and David Hasselhoff. One is a brilliant, method actress; the other worked with talking cars and bikini babes.
