Kota, 3, is a Malamute blend that was surrendered to the shelter recently by a heartbroken owner. Kota is a great dog, and although shy at first, he greets you with a tail wag and a kiss on the cheek. He is reportedly good with children and other dogs. He met kittens for the first time and didn’t seem interested in them, but we would still encourage you to do a meet and greet if you do have cats. Malamutes sometimes are not the best with cats. Kota loves to play and he would prefer to be an outside dog. Kota is scheduled for a neuter, he is microchipped and current on vaccines.
Kota resides in Dog Adoptions at the West Valley Humane Society at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and closed on Sundays. For more information, visit our website at www.westvalleyhumanesociety.org
