Tango, 1, is a neutered male, black, tan and white, Australian shepherd mix. This happy dog has an abundance of puppy-like energy. Tango has gone through the shelter’s IDAPI program where he received eight weeks of basic training. He knows all the basics like sit, down, stay and come and many tricks. He is smart and loves interacting and engaging with his people. Tango does well with other dogs, but will require a cat-free home and older, perhaps teenaged children. He is house-trained and crate-trained. Tango is a medium-sized dog, weighing just 30 pounds, and has a longer coat that will require routine brushing to keep him looking his best. Daily exercise will be essential to keeping Tango and his new home happy. He would be a great hiking or running partner or even excel at learning a canine sport like agility. Meet him at the shelter today.
Tango (#24622523) can be found in kennel 326 at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
