A mysterious odor in Kuna and southern Ada County has locals feeling down in the dumps.
Over the past two days, the Intermountain Gas Company has received more than 100 phone calls about a gassy smell in various areas around Kuna, according to a release from the Kuna Fire District. The areas ranged from Meridian Road and Avalon Street to 10 Mile Road and Hubbard Road.
The smell wafted away at around 1 p.m. Monday but returned to torment noses on Tuesday from 3 a.m. until about 11 a.m.
The fishy part? There have been no natural gas leaks, according to Intermountain Gas.
