A Boise woman was transported to St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center Friday after her car rolled off of eastbound Interstate 84 near the Eagle Road exit.

Linda J. Hill, 62, was taken by ambulance after her 2008 Chevrolet Impala was struck shortly before 1 p.m. by a 1995 Honda Civic driven by Cameron J. Dill.

Dill, 24, was attempting to pass another car, hit it and lost control, crossing several lanes of traffic and striking Hill’s car, according to the Idaho State Police. Dill’s and Hill’s cars both rolled off the right shoulder and landed on their roofs.

Dill had a passenger in his vehicle. Neither was taken to the hospital.

By Friday evening, Hill was apparently no longer at the hospital, authorities there said.

The eastbound freeway’s right lane was closed for 2 1/2 hours but has since been reopened.
