Eureka!, a California-based chain of upscale burger joints, is slated to open in October in the former Aspen Leaf Frozen Yogurt spot, at 800 W. Idaho St, in the Mode Building.
Located next to Pie Hole, Eureka! will specialize in so-hip-it-hurts burgers, craft brews and small-batch bourbon whiskeys. The restaurant and bar should be open by the middle of October.

Don’t be surprised to find a Pearl Street Blues Burger (blue cheese, grilled onions and sautéed wild mushrooms), a Jalapeno Egg Burger and a Bone Marrow Burger made with bone marrow-porcini butter and mustard aioli.

Besides burgers, Eureka! also offers soups, salads and various street-style tacos. Appetizers include osso buco riblets, lollipop corn dogs, bruschetta, truffle cheese fries and grilled shishito peppers sprinkled with tiny pearls of flying fish roe.

Even though the menu is the same at all locations, the Boise restaurant will offer local craft brews on tap.
Eureka!, founded in 2009, has around 20 restaurants, most of which are in California. The company recently branched out into Texas and the Seattle area.
