This redhead ain’t no stranger. Willie Nelson will make his third visit to the Treasure Valley in four years when he strums classic country outside the Idaho Botanical Garden. Eighty-three or not, he’s on the road again with his musical “Family” helping him perform favorites such as “Whiskey River,” “Good Hearted Woman” and “Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys.” If you’ve never managed to see him, missing this would be crazy, if not always on your mind.
7 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, Outlaw Field at Idaho Botanical Garden, 2355 Old Penitentiary Road, Boise. $65. Ticketmaster. Opening: Don McLean.
