Hard rockers Highly Suspect to rock Boise on April 11

There’s no doubt: Highly Suspect, a Brooklyn power trio originally from Cape Cod, is turning heads. After releasing its hard-rocking debut album, “Mister Asylum,” in 2015, Highly Suspect was nominated for two Grammy awards and named one of “10 Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone. The group’s explosive, feral sound gets compared to top-notch acts ranging from Kings of Leon to Queens of the Stone Age. And then there’s the breathtaking video for “Lydia,” an addictive, guitar-charged song about a doomed relationship. It’s simultaneously one of the most anxiety-creating music videos ever made, yet an amazing one-take filmmaking achievement. Be sure to watch the accompanying “behind the scenes” documentary.

7 p.m. Monday, April 11, Neurolux, 111 N. 11th St., Boise. $10. TicketWeb. $12 at the door.
