It’s quite possible that you’ve never heard of Jimmy Webb. But it’s virtually impossible that you’ve never encountered his music. The man who wrote “MacArthur Park” and “Up, Up and Away” — not to mention Glen Campbell’s “Wichita Lineman” — also is a performer who shares entertaining, between-song anecdotes at his shows. On Webb’s “Hits and Requests” tour, he’s letting fans make setlist suggestions in advance of his appearances. Check out his Facebook page or jimmywebb.com for more details.
