Boise jazzman Curtis Stigers organized a killer lineup for this year’s McCall Jazz Festival, which has a new location at Brundage Mountain. Saxophone phenom Grace Kelly will take you from smooth to groove; Boise native Emily Braden will croon, scat, rap and wail. You’ll hear legendary sax player Jerry Weldon and guitar superstar Bill Frisell, pictured, — truly one of the best in the biz. Then top it off with Stigers, the Matthew Fries Piano Trio and trumpeter John “Scrapper” Sneider. The event benefits McCall’s Shepherd’s Home foster care facility and Boise’s Interfaith Sanctuary Housing Services.
