The Texas-based Randy Rogers Band has history with Idaho — all the way back to the days when the annual Braun Brothers Reunion in Challis included a street dance. Since then, the country-rockin’ group has earned a solid Gem State following, almost making it feel like family. Consequently, expect a few tears along with cheers next week for frontman Randy Rogers. His own family was struck by tragedy earlier this month — the death of his newborn daughter — but he’s continuing to tour and take solace in music. “Randy and his family are very appreciative of the outpouring of love and support” according to a statement on the Randy Rogers Band’s Facebook page, where you’ll find more information.
