Michael Deeds recommends

Dusty Leigh and the Claim Jumpers: Saturday, Ranch Club. It’s the first Saturday night at the reborn, “outlaw country” Ranch Club in Garden City. Prepare to party. (And dance to the self-proclaimed “new ultimate country and rock cover band in the Treasure Valley.”)

Starset: Tuesday, Knitting Factory. The concept-album path is a risky one, but this “cinematic rock” group has found commercial success thanks to strong, sci-fi-laced songs. (Such as radio hit “Monster.”)

Divinity Roxx: Thursday, The Olympic. She plays wicked bass. She raps. Full of energy and love, Roxx is Beyonce’s former musical director and bassist, and also is an ex-member of bass god Victor Wooten’s touring band.
