Boise’s Salsa Idaho Festival brings sass and sizzle to the dance floor

You’ll be saying, “Que viva la salsa!” as you dance the night away at the ninth annual Salsa Idaho Festival. Don’t worry if you’re a beginner: The fun starts with lessons in dance styles, from bachata to merengue. Then you’ll be swept away to the rhythms of San Francisco band Candela, featuring vocalist and percussionist Edgardo Cambon, center. The group is known for its mix of horns, guitar, percussion and high-energy Latin spirit.
