More than 20,000 people flocked to Expo Idaho on Saturday and Sunday to partake of Basque events, food and other offerings.
Thursday’s Sports Night at CenturyLink Arena and Friday’s Festa’ra at the Morrison Center both sold out with 5,000 and 2,000 attendees, respectively.
Not only did the events sell out, but so did the food.
Gone by Friday night were the 51,000 croquetas made in advance of the celebration. Crews were making thousands more early Saturday morning to meet the demand.
