Here’s the game plan if you’re craving sports on TV and a couple of beers in Downtown Boise: Wing it.
Buffalo Wild Wings opened its new Boise location today at the Clearwater Building, 777 W. Main St. The restaurant at City Center Plaza adds a much-needed sports bar to the area’s nightlife scene — not to mention a reason to head Downtown on Sunday afternoon for NFL and fantasy-football action.
It’s the third Treasure Valley location for Buffalo Wild Wings, called “B-Dubs” for short or “BW3” by old-schoolers. This popular franchise specializes in chicken wings doused in one of 16 sauces. (Try the tasty Garlic Parmesan and fiery-sweet Mango Habanero.) B-Dubs also serves typical sports-pub fare such as burgers, wraps, mac and cheese and the like.
Thirsty? An impressive 30 beers are on tap, including Idaho breweries such as Sockeye, Payette, 10 Barrel and McCall.
