7 new Boise concerts: Lindsey Stirling, Carrington, Zappa, Zeds Dead

It’s a busy Monday for Boise concert announcements. After news of an ’80s hair-band festival broke this morning, shows quickly started piling up. Here’s the latest update:

Rodney Carrington will get ’em laughing Sept. 9 at the Morrison Center. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday for $44.75, or $179.75 for a VIP meet and greet, at Ticketmaster.

Country vocalist Clint Black is headed to the Revolution Center for a Sept. 29 concert. Tickets are $35 general admission, $49.50 and $59.50 reserved, $65 VIP, when they go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketfly.

Dancing violinist Lindsey Stirling sold out Outlaw Field when she performed there in 2015. She’ll be at Memorial Stadium this time around: Oct. 3. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster for $35 general-admission lawn, $45 general-admission seated.

Dweezil Zappa will headline the Knitting Factory on Oct. 5. Tickets are $26 general admission, $65 skybox/reserved balcony, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at TicketWeb.

Casey Donahew will gig Oct. 27 at the Knitting Factory in Boise. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $15 advance, $17 door, $35 skybox/reserved balcony at TicketWeb.

Expect a big EDM production when Zeds Dead headlines Nov. 3 in Garden City (at a venue to be announced that you can pretty much guess). Tickets are $20 (first 100 sold), $25 (second 100 sold), $30 general-admission advance, $35 at the door, $45 VIP, and go on sale at 10 a.m. July 22 at Ticketfly.

Corey Smith headlines the Revolution Center on Sept. 25. Tickets are $15 general-admission, $20 at the door, $30 VIP, when they go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketfly. Opening acts haven’t been announced yet.
