Hair-metal fans craving nothin’ but a good time are in luck this coming holiday season.
Spandex will invade the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa on Friday, Dec. 2, in the form of the “Wreck the Halls with Bret Michaels” tour.
Michaels, best known as the lead singer of pop-metal band Poison, will headline a bill that also includes Warrant, L.A. Guns and RATT.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. July 15 for $39, $45, $55 and $75 at ICTickets.

With an uncanny gift for staying relevant, Michaels definitely is the big draw at this concert. If you want to catch up with his singing skills, you can watch him perform this Thursday on ABC’s new show “Greatest Hits.”
The personnel in these other bands has evolved significantly over the years. Warrant singer Jani Lane died in 2011. Tracii Guns hasn’t been in L.A. Guns for more than a decade. And RATT now capitalizes the letters in its band name for reasons I cannot explain, unless it is related to the legal confusion that has surrounded that band in recent years. (Drummer Bobby Blotzer is the lone original member.)
But if you’re not a purist — and you just want to party down to those chunky riffs you remember from high school — this night looks like it will deliver a solid spritz of Aqua Net.
