2. THINK COUNTRY
The Canyon County Fair is in full swing, which means there’s plenty of country music to see. (They aren’t even pretending to be interested in rock, OK?) Here’s the concert schedule, so you might as well plan to see Easton Corbin on Saturday night. Or not. No pressure.
3. BURY YOUR EARDRUMS
4. DO A DATE MOVIE
We all have a soft spot for John Hughes movies. “Paper Towns” — based on the John Green novel — is in the vein of those films, which is a good sign. Another option? Take the calculated risk of paying to see an Adam Sandler action flick. (I wouldn’t.) [Tickets]
5. GET REVVED AT J’S
Cool off in Garden City on Saturday with a bunch of wicked-looking vehicles. The third annual Ultimate Car Show will happen at J’s Ultimate Hand Car Wash, 3756 Chinden Blvd. There will be drawings for prizes, live music from Soul Kitchen and a food tent with burgers and hot dogs.
