Michael Deeds: 5 Things You Should Do This Weekend in Boise

1. OK, GO GET RECKLESS

Take a seat, party animals. Country-rockers Reckless Kelly will perform at the Morrison Center tonight. [Tickets] (Multi-instrumentalist Cody Braun told me that sometimes they like to give fans a rest.) More into sweaty power-pop? Check out Grammy-winning video-making geniuses OK Go at the Knit on Sunday. [Tickets]

2. CRAWL TO THE PARTY

Show some love for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and party down at Boise pubs and breweries in the process. The sixth annual Crawl Around Downtown happens from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. [More]

---

3. RAVE ABOUT DOWNTOWN

EDM music will blast outdoors at Gravity, an 80,000-watt festival from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday. The crowd at 6th and Grove streets probably will skew young — you must be 16 to attend — but there also will be a zoned beer garden for old timers.

---

4. BUST A GUT

You might know stand-up comic Dave Landau from radio’s “Bob and Tom” or NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” He’s at Liquid Laughs all weekend.

---

5. GO INTERNATIONAL

You don’t need a passport to visit the Boise International Market. (But you do need an appetite.) Even Mayor Dave Bieter will be at the market’s official grand opening celebration on Saturday.
