It’s cheap. It’s acoustic. And there’s already a line for tickets.
Rocker and Rennaisance man Jack White announced last week that he would do a short run of surprise acoustic shows in markets he hadn’t previously visited. As fans disappointed by a 2007 White Stripes cancellation at Qwest (now CenturyLink) Arena are aware, Boise is one of those.
So it’s no surprise — OK, it’s a fairly big one — that White will perform at 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Egyptian Theatre. The announcement came this morning, and there’s already a line. (See photo.) Tickets are just $3 and will be distributed starting at noon at the Egyptian box office. It’s cash only, one per person.
Doors open at 7 p.m.
