Built To Spill releases video shot at Treefort, in North End

Boise indie-rock band Built To Spill’s eighth full-length studio album hit stores this weekend in vinyl format, and rolls out today in digital and CD formats. To stir up buzz, the band has released a second video from the album featuring a pirate-looking character who appeared in the first one.

In typical Built To Spill style, it’s goofy, insiderish and low-budget. And fun. The live shots were filmed during Built To Spill’s performance last month at Treefort Music Fest, and there’s an outdoor scene in Martsch’s back yard in front of his Manhouse recording studio in Boise’s North End. (I think. It’s been a long time since I’ve been there.)
