Less than a year after he canceled a Morrison Center performance, classic-rocker Gregg Allman is now scheduled to perform at the Idaho Botanical Garden's Outlaw Field.
The outdoor concert, featuring opening act Steve Earle & The Dukes, is slated for 7 p.m. Friday, June 26. It's the third show announced this year at Outlaw Field, which typically hosts about eight concerts in spring and summer.
Allman, known for hits such as "I'm No Angel" and Allman Brothers Band classics such as "Melissa" and "Midnight Rider," backed out of a July 1 performance in Boise last year. No reason for the cancellation was provided at the time. Earle's last Boise visit was a 2013 headlining gig at the Egyptian Theatre.
Tickets to the Allman/Earle performance at the Botanical Garden go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 27 for $40 at TicketWeb.
