1. PRAY FOR SNOW

Snow? Rain? Whatever, baby, it's a great excuse to party. Besides, mmmm: Smell that barrel-aged beer goodness? With four bands, special brews and pseudo-balmy weather, why not hit an all-ages parking-lot bash at 10 Barrel Brewing Co.? [Details]

2. GET UNCAGED

Rapper Young Jeezy performs Friday night at the Revolution Center. [Tickets] Boise electronic force Magic Sword headlines Friday night at Neurolux. [Tickets] And Kentucky rockers Cage the Elephant will rip up the Revolution Center on Sunday. Watch out for wildman singer Matt Shultz’s two-story stage dives. [Tickets]

---

3. HIT THE ZOO

It'll be a good day for little monkeys Saturday — both yours and the zoo's. Everyone gets in free at Zoo Boise. And the animals will be fed Christmas treats all day. For a buck or two, get your photo taken with Santa or do some face painting.

---

4. BE FRANK

Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons are the subject of ”Jersey Boys,” which plays at the Morrison Center through Sunday. [Tickets] (Be aware, Grandma, that there are lots of f-bombs in this show.)

---

5. FEEL ARTSY

Local artists will show their stuff at the 11th Art in the Bar, which takes over the Knitting Factory on Sunday. So stroll, enjoy and feel free to ask: Where’d all the dip go?
